My best ever day with these fabulous birds.
Perfect light and a flock of around 20 confiding birds in the unlikely setting of the station car park was a great way to start the New Year.
The prospects of a Waxwing winter in 2023, despite earlier predictions, seem to have failed to materialise in our area anyway.
