These 2 birds were found in a narrow strip of reed between a very busy footpath and the Serpentine. The birds seemed completely at home and totally oblivious to birders and photographers no doubt as a result of the constant human presence on the footpath. Both were 1st winter females and had been ringed at Rye Meads some 25 miles to the North.
