One of the main objects of this trip was to photograph Lammergeiers. A feeding site in the pre-Pyrenees of Catalonia attracts up to 20 of these amazing birds daily in winter! In spring and summer there are not as many but I would guess that on both of our two days at the site, there were about 10 individuals visiting.
