Our host Jordi put out a selection of tasty cuts of meat, from which the Lammergeiers usually selected a leg bone. These were either swallowed on the ground or carried away. This bird favoured the "take away" option as this bone was no doubt too big. Presumably it would have to dealt with by the "bonebreaker" technique of dropping it from a great height onto rocks.
