Burwell Fen, Cambridgeshire

This site became well known a few years ago when a number of owls wintered there after an autumn influx from continental Europe. It looks as if history may be repeating itself as I saw at least 5 of these birds when I visited yesterday. From mid afternoon, the owls began hunting and provided a couple of hours of non stop action.
