Photographed very early in the morning at a traditional "lek" site where the males gather to strut about and display, hoping to attract a female. An overnight stay in a very comfortable hide was necessary to be on site at dawn without disturbing the birds. The lovely evening on arrival at the hide unfortunately turned into a murky and drizzly morning. The birds also remained rather distant from the hide but nevertheless it was a great experience just to be there.
