Red Fox
Notsuke Peninsula, Hokkaido, Japan
A very different looking animal from the sruffy urban foxes of South London. This one looked fabulous in its thick winter coat. The Hokkaido foxes were not uncommon but always very shy, this one and its mate however were ridiculously tame and presumably were used to begging scraps from the fishermen on this remote and wild peninsula.
